𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀
There are two ways to control the car in slot cars:
- Control Stick
- A Button
Stick requires a lot more precision with your movement, and is a lot harder to play with than using the A button. Using the A button no longer requires you do control your angles, allowing you to just hold the button then the car will zoom. Personally, I've found the A button a lot easier to start with and I know a lot of people who use it over the control stick. For this guide, i'll go into detail on the a button. However, control stick could be meta sometime in the future. We may never know...
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁
Now, there's one main strat that makes up all off the tracks. It's what I like to call 𝘀𝗸𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, but you can call it whatever. Basically, whenever you're going fast around some turns, your car will skrt and your controller will rumble a little (that is if you're using a rumble compatible controller, of course), and your car will fall off track, losing lots of time. You can cancel this skrt by, well, slowing down around the corner. But you can slow down and keep your speed very quickly with fast skrt canceling. By quickly letting go of the a button and holding it again, you will very quickly slow down and speed back up. The faster you're able to let go and hold again without falling off, the faster. My big tip for fast skrt cancels is to never take your hand off the button. It's faster to hold then let go while keeping your thumb on the button because it's less movement for your thumb.

Track 1 is probably the middle ground of the three tracks. Not too hard, not too easy. For the first lap, just hold the a button. There will be no skrts you have to worry about. For the second, fourth, and last lap, you're going to have to skrt cancel around the second, third, and fourth corners ( https://imgur.com/YmGB0oT ). And for the third and fifth lap, you'll have to skrt cancel just on just the first corner (https://imgur.com/wAzlsKQ ), then just hold a for the rest of the lap.

Track 2 is the easiest. I'd say start out with this one. For the first lap, just skrt cancel around the second corner ( https://imgur.com/KEcjMwI )then hold for the rest of the lap. For every other lap, just skrt cancel around the first two corners ( https://imgur.com/MKNTTz2 ). Really easy to learn.

Track 3 is BY FAR the hardest track. It's very hard to learn at first. For the first lap, you just have to skrt cancel on the last three corners ( https://imgur.com/Nbpb6X7 ). The second, fourth, and last lap are the hardest laps in the game. You must skrt cancel on the first two corners, and then you have to skrt cancel twice on the same turn after the loop de loop. The first cancel is right around the start of the turn, and the second is when you're going downwards into the turn (please look at the picture for reference, this is kind of hard to explain in text). Then you skrt cancel on the last three corners again ( https://imgur.com/ZkfDVP4 ). The third and fourth laps just skrt cancel on the first two corners and the last three corners ( https://imgur.com/6b3UAB8 ).
