Basic Movement Optimizazion

A lot of the game is running right and avoiding obstacles,
so here is a quick guide on doing that more quickly:

GENERAL MOVEMENT

A quick speed rating:
Walking on up/down slopes     VERY SLOW
Walking on flat ground             FAST
Moving while in the air             FASTEST

So just make sure to spend as little time as possible on the ground
and especially avoid slopes

When jumping if you activated you double jump and regrab
the jump key you will jump instantly when you hit the ground.
This is obviously the optimaly way to do it but:

If you try to immediately jump off of an uphill slope while moving to the
right there is a (seemingly random) chance that your horizontal velocity
gets set to 0, loosing some time.

So avoid landing on slopes even if it's just for a single tick.

WATER MOVEMENT

To move vertically in water you need to mash the up key.
if you need to move vertically really fast (to get an IL record for example)
the best way on PC is to mash the Arrow-Up and W at the same time,
since both count as the same action.

When trying to move above the water like in 1-1 or 4-9
there is a small window where you can jump off the water
with almost no loss of momentum. but if the distance is longer
you are better of using your double jump to spend as little time in
the water as possible

Slope Float Glitch

This glitch works on the mobile releases for Android and iOS.
It allows you to have constant upward velocity, with which you can skip levels.

How to do it:
Take damage until you have 0 hearts left.
stand no a slope(no matter how steep it is) and die.

After you get hit and die the screen fill freeze and Bloo Kid will bounce, before leaving the screen.
You need to pause the game when he is in this upward motion.
The ideal situation is pausing while the screen is frozen.

Important: If you want to use this glitch in levels consistently you always need to pause then the screen is frozen. because thats whenn Bloo Kid has the most upward velocity. This velocity will be carried over to wherever you want.

Now simply restart or exit and choose another level. You will have the velocity you had when you paused the game, except constantly.
This allows you to airwalk, although you will leave the top of the screen quickly. This way you can walk over top all levels that dont have a ceiling above your spawnpoint.

IMPORTANT: The Glitch ends as soon as you press Jump or hit a ceiling.

NOTE: You walk slower than usual in this state. This is because the game still registers you as being on a slope, which influences your movement speed. I will evetually make a seperate guide on that.
However this is the reason the glitch only saves you time on levels with a lot of slow pace vertical movement.

PRO TIP 1: This is super usefull at skipping boss triggers.
   It works on all of them except Woody, because for some reason his boss trigger extends over the entire level.

PRO TIP 2: You need to restart a level in order to skip it, thus fast execution is key. I run the game on Nightmare difficulty for that reason, even though some bits get a lot harder, because you only need to get hit twice instead of 4 times. Given how often I use Slope Float especially in world 4 Nightmare pays off.
