And indeed do you need to? Cause unlocking cars would be an obvious advantage but it at least seems like you can't "overstock on stars" since it's just about doing every level in order?
The game now has a "proper release" by Nightdive https://www.gog.com/game/the_wheel_of_time
Do you think it has any speedrun-affecting differences?
Big nostalgia for the game and kind of arbitrary which version to get, so just in case, is either better for speedruns? (regarding any downpatching or the like)
I understand why cause they KEEP COMING OUT and no one has done any runs with them yet, but just for completeness sake :)
It's kinda stupid to have to click off of the score screen, I'm gonna change that to when it pops up. Will retime existing runs to fit this
Don't know much much about the game, but saw on twitter that it got kickstarted to finally release the N64 version along with a PC port lol
I assume it starts on file select and ends on the fatal blow to the last boss like the other games, would just be nice if it was actually specified in the category rules
All I know is it's BANNED, what god forsaken knowledge are you trying to protect us from?
Out of nowhere, a 1mb update with 12 new levels!
So I guess the old leaderboard should now be renamed to "classic stages" or "52 stages" and then have a new "all stages" with all 64
God why do these games keep having only one persistent savefile... But yeah, as the title says :)
I poked around a bit myself but all the folders seem to just be named random combinations of letters lol
I set up leaderboards for Tumblestone yesterday, and I made "full game" categories for each individual world, as well as all worlds
It would make sense to have IL's too, there's even a level timer and everything, thing is there are 360 of them! How to best set them up, so it doesn't look too stupid and require scrolling for a year?
Hi, I'm kinda interested in FPS speedruns and this looks fun and quirky, but it's not on sale anywhere. Is it abandonware and is there any legit-ish ways to get hold of it?
