22 something, I think. I tried to find his Twitch channel, and I did find someone under the name, but there are only videos of Megaman X4 speedruns
The runner you're referring to is Cybergeddon. Looks like he either deleted his SRC profile, or his videos got swept up in the SRC video removal a while back.
I feel like they should all be combined, until a version is found to be significantly different, warranting a separation. More people may jump in when they see they can compete against a wide field.
For the moment we'll just use SDA rules, as far as when the time starts and stops. As for difficulty, they will be separated, and leave the damage at default. These make the most sense to me, but feel free to add suggestions, as you probably know the game better.
I was asked to create this board, and when that happens you become a mod by default. I'm currently looking for someone knowledgeable about this specific game to add as a mod.
Requesting to be upgraded to super-mod for ( https://www.speedrun.com/castlevania_bloodlines ). This game is becoming more active due to the CV Collection, and there is a backlog of runs. I reached out to the current super-mod, with no response. He has not logged on for the last 7 months.
Requesting removal of Total Carnage from the Marvel series
SRC page: https://www.speedrun.com/total_carnage
I'm not sure of the proper place to ask for this, so I'll start here. There is a game in the Marvel series that is mis-categorized. The game is Total Carnage ( https://www.speedrun.com/total_carnage ) and it's likely there due to an oversight. I've been told that this is a sequel to Smash TV, and belongs in that series. I've tried to move/remove it, but it seems that series mods are not able to due that.
You have to enable that through a cheat in the options screen. I wouldn't allow it due to it being a cheat that affects gameplay.
Any particular reasoning for no emulation? I going to learn 100% soon. I use original hardware but, I'm just curious about any differences.
There is also a TAS for the GBA version http://tasvideos.org/Game/gba-xmen-the-official-game.html
You may be able to get some idea from it to convert to RTA. The TAS is kind of insane though.
I went ahead and split the categories, since the justification seems strong enough.
I added the category, I may shuffle it around to find the best place to fit it.
Seems like a good justification to me. What does everyone else think?
Just need to know what version, I can add the leaderboard after that.
I'd just switch to Gens 9.5 or Fusion. If your emulator is doing that it's probably not accurate.
I use Wolverine's headbutt because it causes knockback, and hit multiple targets. If your really having trouble you can get enemies to spawn on the same side most of the time. When you see an enemy spawn on the map, run towards the door and it will close. The enemies will then respawn on the other side. Hope this helps.
I've wondered why the variants of a category are not kept under the same tab. I.E 1 character tab with Luigi, Mario, button etc.Seems like it would consolidate quite a bit. I've also wondered why no 1 character All levels boards don't exist. Maybe not enough interest?
Ok, not sure where to post this but, I figured here. Just curious if there is anyone out there that takes requests for creating TAS runs, or possibly a place for this?
Just a thought that might make verification a bit easier. It would also make it easy to recreate situations etc found in the game on a specific emulator or build.
