Massachusetts, USAIf anyone ever is trying to play the play station version of skates never use a controller ever. You should use a keyboard. Using the arrow keys or WASD makes the game so much easier for people trying it out for the first time and the movement a lot more easier. With a controller the game feels more clunky than it usually is, but if you use a keyboard the game is more crisp and the movement is easier. This is just to let it be easier for new players to get better at the game instead of trying to grind with controller or just quitting. Hope this helps out new runners.
I see that there is pacifist runs exist, and I think since theres a pacifist run we should do the opposite and do a genocide run. Sounds exactly how it should be played, kill every enemy that appears on screen. Even the jump guys that kill themselves and the fish/crocodiles in the beach and sewer levels respectively.
Also if anyone knows how to TAS we should try to get one up or I’ll try to learn to so we can have one
So I was streaming the game tonight and ended up messing up the beach level and found that some if not most of the ocean doesn't kill you. I'm not sure if this could be used during the level to save some time or if there are pits like these ones in the sewer level. If they do exist in the sewer level then we could be able to find a way to clip through walls to make that level go even faster. Same thing with the train level as well. So I might just teach my self how to use a TAS to try to figure this stuff out, but if anyone else knows how to TAS by all means do it cause this could lead to huge time saves possibly. Or it could just be a fun little glitch that I'm overhyping. But I just wanted to share this info with everyone.
