Hey there! I recently done a run earlier this week, it's a Mario Kart Pentathlon, all 5 mario kart on home console So the point of this thread is to know if their is any interest in adding a leaderboard game in the series as Multiple Mario Kart game.

I have several categories in mind I want to do eventually like handheld Triathlon, Mirror marathon and an Octathlon with all 8 games.

Of course I know the multiple Mario games will accept the submission, but I rather have it in our series and have a total control over the rules and not be just a category elsewhere.

I think it might be a good idea and give the idea to some other runners to try to do that kind of runs.

I actually did a pentathlon of all home-console Mario Kart game earlier this week, I will upload it in couple days. I'm just waiting for an answer from Lafungo (super Mod on MK series board) as we could use a Multiple Mario Kart ''game'' and place our result there with other Mario Kart games. We could use different category like home-console pentathlon, Octathlon, hand-held Triathlon, Mirror Marathon, etc.

They shouldn't be allowed or they could have their own category like ''All race - extreme team''

All my runs are no skip/with flags

I think the time should start on the first race and menuing should not be take into account of the time, For the flag, we could do a skip (no flag) and no skip (with flag). That way we will have 2 different category that will not penalyse someone whio try to stay on track and let players who want to cut corner do so.

For timing stop is as soon it's fade black for podium ceremony

Damage should stay on as for the 97 events (so everyone will have the same meteo condition. For the flags, could only be fair to take them out although you don't get penalize on the first 2 offense of a yellow flag and races are 4 laps, so not that much an issue.

Actually, the rules for a point in every challenge was to force doing points in ultimate challenge

I propose here a new category that reprsent better the concept of the game. I propose to add challenge mode category. In this mode, you must beat all challenge (in any order) and time on the finish line of ultimate challenge (must score at least 1 point)

I was interested to run this game and just watch the world record and actually saw that he didn't won the world cup, he only won every games, finishing second one the table. Is that normal? In my thinking, beat the world cup means win the world cup

SnipinG117, that's the point of including the ingame time to take out as much possible the ''RNG loading time'' and the unfair advantage digital has over disc.

Or just the runner himself must calculate is in-game time. Take off all the loading time (only the white screen, not the waiting for Lakitu to give the start, because it's the same speed)

Hey I thought about that tread and something that could be interesting for everybody and put every runner on the same foot is to add the in-game time on the leaderboard, that time will take out the loading screen time so everyone will be equal

I suppose it depend if you are playing with item or itemless. Itemless you have nothing really to hit you and make you stop, so accel may be something less important, unless you are playing 200cc where you have to use the brake, so you have to accel back at your top speed. It would depend on what type of kart you are more confortable with. Don't take a kart with not a lot of control if you can't handle it. It was overall a great event. I think what of the think missing at the event was an actual couch commentary. Some runners when come time to harder parts of the game or starting to struggle with some tricks stop commenting their run and only focus on the game. So during the time the runner is only focusing on the game, no commentary are made on the run, therefore not helping viewers that doesn't know what happening to understand the run. And for the stream, it could be cool to see the runner more on the webcam, it was a bit too dark
