I guess you are talking about an emulated version, yes it is allowed, but the pirated version of the game have restriction that have bug and can prevent you from doing a good run, the game can remove you eggs, gems or some stuff, so search on google to fix this.

When doing the Humans Lab finale, if someone kill itself and fast restart, it's faster than everybody get in the car to skip (DON'T DO THIS FOR CRIMINAL MASTERMIND!)
