Ohio, USAThere are dedicated sites for Time Trials and a speedrun leaderboard isn't that. Asking for a leaderboard to be added with so many variables like HP is ridiculous.
I made the leaderboard just for book and didn't make anything else yet, so just give me time, and I'll change it. No need to make a giant essay about it.
I can upload mine when I get a chance. Unless you have a specific route you want to do, which it'll be different, of course.

I realize this is late, but from reports from people who own the PS Classic, I'm not gonna allow runs to be done on it. Framerate issues and inaccuracies plague the "console". This'll save everyone from having to own one.

It is immeasurably better. The game handles the neGcon differently than DS1/2 and the JogCon. Handling is better and speed isn't lost as much during turning, drifting and not drifting. The WR before neGcon was a low 28, and with the neGcon, you can see what the runs are now. They aren't impossible to buy nowadays. With a shipping proxy, Amazon JP, ebay has them, and yahoo auctions.
I have added as many consoles Pole Position was released on, as much as I can find. Changed timing to In-Game Time to avoid confusion of loads on consoles/emulator/etc. Changed the category from "High Score (12k)" to "Qualifying Lap" since all the runs done were just the first lap.
You used the word "difficulty" in the wrong context. I thought you meant in the options menu, Rookie, Pro, Ace. I guess I'll add them in Misc. since they aren't full runs.
The difficulty doesn't change anything about the tracks, just the AI, so there would be no time difference, in theory. Doesn't make sense to clog the board with runs that are identical.
Why do you feel the need to separate PAL/NTSC when this game was release on 3 different consoles with varying loading times? There's an in-game timer and at the end of each Arcade/Trophy/Championship, and that can be used for times submitted alongside RTA. And, I can't imagine anyone tested if PAL is slower than NTSC for each console release. Just because a game was release in both regions in the PS1-era, doesn't mean PAL is slower. Gran Turismo 1, PAL is slower than NTSC, but Gran Turismo 2, it's the other way around. That would clean up the board, so there isn't a sub-category for everything. The rule of "Any car can be used" shouldn't exist, unless there is a plan to add a New Game Plus sub-category, even though there is no post-game. Allowing only the starting cars for runs except cars unlocked throughout the category should be the rule of runs. Example: Using cars unlocked through Arcade Mode in an Arcade Mode run.
We don't need more moderators, and "Sunday Cup" isn't a full speedrun, and there's never been interest until now, so it won't be added.
Apologizes for a late response. Grand Prix Mode doesn't have a reverse option, so you can't watch the credits after you finish the races in Time Trial Mode.

I believe this leaderboard doesn't have a place since most people don't know about speedrunning, or don't care about it, so it'll never be a place for everyone. This means there will be better times out there from years ago which are records, and the ones here aren't. And, it's not like I'd move those times here, 'cause that's not right at all. I just need some opinions on the matter, and this will be posted in the first 4 game's forums as well.
PS2 emulation is very inaccurate, so runs can only be done on official hardware with the official disc. There aren't many PS2 communities that allow emulators because of how inaccurate it is.
