The best time saving glitch is very easy to do. When you’re at the end of the White Box lab mission and your objective is to detonate the emp, don’t kill the guys near the button, instead, stun them with a portable emp and hit the button. The cutscene will start and the guys will start shooting at you, which is good. They’ll kill you and you’ll respawn right after the cutscene and you can exit the mission. Little time saver.

Alright so it seems the most popular console to run this on is PS2 but does anyone know the exact loading times? If I get my hands on the ps2 version, I might make a video to compare the loads.

Alright good we've come to a decision on that. When I have some free time (by free time, I mean more than 5 minutes to check social media and forums/board) I will make some runs.

Also, even though there aren't any normal runs yet that I know of, I added that to the list. @SHIGINT when you spoke of 100%, are you meaning a full playthrough of each difficulty?

Alright so since nobody has any runs of Black Ops yet, and I'm not sure they will, I've been keeping it in miscellaneous but I can add it back to the main page to attract more runners if you think that will help. And I've also been planning on uploading criminaltrap's runs as well as others.

That's true. I'll figure out something to do about the M16A2 category and how to set it up. Also, a glitchless run would be no grenade glitch or out of bounds glitches. I have seen one instance where you can skip by glitching in Trivliz Asylum on the staircase going down.

Of course. I am contemplating adding a no M16A2 for future runs (Not invalidating runs that have already been posted) but I don't think it gives too much of an advantage, except for the grenades. For people like me who have beaten the game 100%, there is no way to go back to normal silver weapons unless you delete the save, which I don't think anyone wants to do. I'll think about it and post my thoughts on it soon. In regards to emulators, I don't plan on allowing them because of loading times and making a category separation for them isn't necessary (at least not yet) since there isn't many people running this. Xbox 360 is fine with loading times, so that is all good. Although I will leave the difficulties since I plan on running them soon and I want to encourage people running this since it's a nice challenge if you ever get tired of running easy.

Alright this is getting way out of hand. This forum needs to be used for discussions relating to BLACK only, which I have not helped with at all. Also @BnH247 I'm running the page as I see fit. Okay things here are still somewhat new and we aren't on here every day. Like any other game board, this is a work in progress. NSW is pointless because the time from cutscenes is about 11:25 and I don't think anyone would want to sit through the cutscenes during a speedrun. Things are improving around here and trying to threaten to contact website admins isn't going to make it go any faster. Il boards are not a mess. I'm not adding normal difficulty yet because I don't see anyone running normal. When I do, I'll add it. The only glitch I really know about is the grenade glitch and they are two different categories because even if it's a small time difference, it's not completely legitimate and it's an unfair advantage to those people using the glitch, but I'm not banning it. And I see no reason to add 100%. That's what Black Ops difficulty is for. Hope I helped :D

Yeah that's a problem I've been having, too. I've been going for wr, but things always go bad. I had wr pace on my current best run, but since it was on Xbox 360...
