I submitted a run about a month ago, and while I know that it can take a few weeks for a run to get verified, I wanted to make sure it would get check out by someone eventually :)

Hi all, been practicing this game lately, and was wondering what the rules around emblems spawning from candles are?

I've mostly been able to follow along the current routes, but I'm having trouble ensuring that I get into the 'powered up' state for specific areas/fights (e.g. golem boss).

Not sure whether it relies on gem count, number of candles destroyed etc. Any info appreciated!

Hey all, I was thinking of getting started with this run, and have been following along with Jupiter's record video, which has honestly been pretty easy to play alongside so far.

That being said, I'm sure there's a lot of tech and nuances that I'm not picking up on, so I'm wondering if there are any guides - or any plans to write a guide - on the current routing?

I was also checking Romscout's older video and it's really cool to see how the run has evolved since then!

Hey there, is there a definitive guide on the differences between each version of the game? Graphical and audio differences aside, it seems like the SNES version has additonal levels? Also looks like some of the auto-scrolling sections are different too?

I guess I'd throw in a question as to why you all prefer one over the other as well :)
