Annual marathon held in Finland to unite (hence the name, genius right?) speedrunners all around the world.
All rooms visited All files collected All kills All unique items collected (excl. Special Key, ammunition, herbs)
When you arrive to the venue, you will be asked to tell your name (and maybe your name nickname) to get your pass for the event.
Before your run: If you play PC make sure to install (and download) your game(s) as soon as possible to test it out to make sure everything works. If you use your own keyboard / mouse / controller, make also sure that they work too. For console runners, check that you have all your cables ready and controllers have enough battery.

It was mentioned somewhere but not here, but all runners get free entry to the event. You need to give your name on info to get your free pass.
Submissions will be open from 13 November to 18 December 2017. (13.11 - 18.12.2017)
When submitting, please explain thoroughly the idea of the category you are playing, why that game should be accepted and other necessary info you would like us to know.
If you want to add some info after submitting, please post it here. For example, please tell us if you have improved your time.
Mass-housing: Mass-housing is free for all the runners and attendees, but you need bring your own gear: an air mattress, a sleeping bag, a pillow and such. Mass-housing is located in the venue itself so there is no need to leave the site!

The given link has pretty much all the info you need to get to the venue by using public transport. If you depart from the train station, every train stops at the Pasila train station. There is a 5 minute walk from the Pasila station to reach the venue. There are many signs that will help you reach the venue, just follow the signs saying "Messukeskus".

For me it doesn't work at all anymore, yesterday it worked just fine :o
