That seems like a good idea, no break at all is pretty rough and not too healthy. 5 minutes might be a bit long but if that's what decided that is fine, 2 minutes would be the bare minimum I feel.

Hello, not sure why u can't post on the FF7 leaderboard forum, that seems weird. Without a video proof the run can't be verified, sorry. Also all the runs on the leaderboard are done in a single segment.

Hello, thanks for the feedback on Switch being different, back then we put them all together because none of us knew any difference, since we didn't do runs on every console (or owned them), I'll show this to other mods and we'll see what we'll do about that board.

For 3. There is already a difference between the PS4 u're using and you can change to have a SSD, so there are already differences in speed depending of what you have there.

2. There could be a rule for switch where you have to put your field message speed in the middle before starting a run.

3. Possible to just start the timer later or substract the difference inbetween the 2 consoles.

So I guess the other points are the more problematic ones.

it was really just a rule made for removing some enemies that can be defeated multiple times but some could say they count as bosses, the ruling wasn't easy to do, I've been playing with another rule even the last times I've done it just to put one back :| "A boss is defined as an enemy that can only be defeated once or has a unique reward behind him" is the current one I'm using

hey, I believe yuffie warping etc would probably make it a new category. Beating Yuffie twice wouldn't be an issue, the rule is more to exclude some enemies that could be consider like bosses, like the Stingers.

whenever you have a run done, ask a mod to add the leaderboard for it.

It's not illegal, just nobody did it or asked for a leaderboard for it.

PS Vita is like the PSTV, so it will be way faster than PS1, and a bit faster than the regular PS2 with fast loading. In the run itself, there is nothing different, the changes are just from the loading speed. Enjoy.

For me, not it cannot be appealed, but I'm not the only mod so u can try to talk with the other mods and I wish u luck. Zheal gave a lot of good reasons that I don't really feel like saying again. (lazy :p) I had a conversation back then with the 100% runners and just nothing turned out to work well for everyone, and it was with a low amount of runners. Even if we get to an agreement with the low amount of runner there is, there will always be contradictions in the 100% definition of FF7 because it is not defined in game. I also think it's more of a fun completion category to do that doesn't need competition.

I wouldn't mind the use of a turbo controller on a run like that where everything's pretty much allowed, might have to wait for other mods opinion on this but I'd say even if there is no leaderboard for it u can obviously totally do it for your own good right away.

ps: it is also not against the rules right now because there is no rules talking about turbo usage on that category

that rule was made mostly for not swapping disc at the start of the game to be able to have weird stuffs happen in the game, u shouldn't worry too much about it.

I didn't see the game/runs on that console yet, but it seems they might be similar to PS4, if it's the case, those consoles will be added to that leaderboard

There was a few runs done with no Powersoul/Tifa and it's not really more challenging, the run is even easier I'd say, but yeah, runs with a low amount of runners are usually not added except if there are good reasons for it.
