I will start by saying, that I am not a speed runner (by choice), I am a games developer. I end up speed running my own games when testing and that got me thinking. I am going to implement a Speed Run option in my game and I was curious to get feedback as how best to do it.

I don't want this to come off as a shameless plug for my game, so, I won't link you to anything, I have a genuine interest in having a separate menu option that will remove all tutorials, stories, minimise loading screens, activate all upgrades and keep a detailed log of all times achieved, all items collected and have an online leader-board that will auto update after each run.

Is this something that would be of interest? Or am I way off the mark?
