I've been interested in potentially running any% and current patch any% for a bit now and the only things that really holding me is LiveSplit. I've been wondering for a while now how do people use and time splits the proper way. Is there some special thing I'm supposed to use so that the timer stops during loading times and such? Also, do people manually start the first split and the last split? Wouldn't that potentially affect the time if the person running hits it ever so slightly earlier or later ? Sorry if some of these questions seem a bit dumb.

The page is outdated and i would like to offer my help. I recently started running the game and quickly realize that the page didn't get updated in a long time. More runs should be accepted like casual runs up to insane so that the speedrunners have more liberty. The maps changed 2 so adding the new version of the maps while keeping the older ones would make it simpler to look for a certain run.
