you said it, its not high demand, there hasnt been a submission for this game since i got the sub 3 in any% in 2019
having said that, emulator is actually allowed in the current categories, runs are hidden by default due to the nature of PPSSPP being faster than console (in loading and the save/load menus), making seperate categories for an emulator thats faster than console without a faster emulator run existing just promotes slower runs as tied "WR"
if that changes, the idea can be revisited
Fullscreen is fine, aslong as somewhere on your stream layout you are capturing that enhancement text on the bottom right side of your game feed, which can be done by game capturing the Duckstation window a 2nd time and cropping it down to that overlay part, a quick example i made up

I've been planning to run All Fish in this game as of recent, so i decided to watch BugHaxor's run, in looking over it, i found the emulator used in this run is running the game faster than normal, i believe this is an accident, as it appears to be the only video BugHaxor has uploaded in 60FPS, i imagine OBS (or whatever capture software used) was set to 60FPS which then, to match that, the emu's FPS limit was set to 60FPS without knowing it would make the game run too fast.
All other runs by BugHaxor appear to be running the correct speed like other submissions, i've made a comparison to show what i mean, you'll see at the very beginning of this video, the CONGRATULATIONS text moves up the screen much faster on the left than his All Lakes run on the right, i also compared his Asian Lakes, one is running faster when casting (text on the bottom also scrolls faster) but it seems to be native speed when lag underwater is happening.
I believe that the CONGRATULATIONS text is grounds enough to take down the run as it saves multiple seconds every lake, but clearly there is other speed advantages here that are happening due to speeding up the emulator, i'm happy to sit on this for 7 days and give the community a chance (BugHaxor aswell) to counter-point my argument on this, after that 7 days, i will remove the run.
As i said above, i believe this is accidental and not malicious in anyway, therefore BugHaxor's other runs will remain and i'd be happy to see another run from them in this category.

you dont need to stress yourself with that, if a run is already on the board prior to me updating the rules, its deemed "grandfathered" and will remain on the boards, rule change will only effect new submissions
Fair, nobody said you couldn't, so i've corrected the rules to state "in-game cheats" are not allowed.
Claiming it isn't a cheat is false, if it wasn't an in-game cheat, it would be a clearly defined selectable option, not something you activate with sound test inputs.
also correcting that the SNES version allows it, actually it doesn't, they have a seperate category of "No Restrictions", which actually has some runners, there is none for the Genesis version therefore it doesn't warrant the category, i'm a strong believer that if you want a leaderboard, 2 runs minimum from 2 different runners must be ready to place on the new leaderboard otherwise setting it up is a waste of time
alright nice, happy with the changes, is OfficialThreeC's run gonna be under some sort of "grandfathered" state or will it be removed to match the new rules?
i would like some clarity on the rules for 100%, the way its written states that catching all 30 fish is the only rule, which seems to have been how OfficialThreeC has understood it, in his latest 100% PB he doesn't finish the game by catching the Monster Rong-Yuigh, only catches each of the 3 fish in china once, exits out and calls time
Personally i believe World Monster Fishing should see end credits, thats "100%" in my eyes even if its not completely defined anywhere in the game and has been how i've been running the category up until now, i also believe runs should show livewell at the end the confirm all 30 fish have been caught, maybe that could be the end time?
just incase it comes across like i'm trying to change the rules to benefit myself, i have gotten sub 50 in 100% with catching the monster rong yuigh that i'm yet to submit to the leaderboards at 49:22

imo there's no reason to merge the boards, nothing beneficial will happen from the work, its not like its gonna make this game blow up like you want, however if you get the other mods from the other games to agree against me, ill happily give up moderator of this to them and they can do the merge, other than that, i'm doing my job completely fine and thats verifying runs well within the 3 week maximum waiting period, and to me thats all thats necessary

So if you look at the left sidebar on this leaderboard, you'll see "Shaq Fu series", click that and you'll see all the shaq fu games in one place, merging would only be good if they were comparable games that'd collectively fit under a single any% category, but as they are different games its not going to happen, sorry, besides i'm only a mod of the Genesis leaderboard and not the others, therefore i only have a say for this one and would be very against the idea
