I think you can sync your version of the game with another switch. Not sure of caveats.

Digital versions are always the most recent, unless you have bought it earlier and not updated.

Physical copies are the original version, unless DLC/expanded versions are later released included in the game. All DLC/update content not in the original cartridge must be downloaded online. If you buy a used copy, it will be whatever the last user updated it to, or, possibly reversed it to, depending on the update sync.

I believe for TOTK, 1.0.0 was a pre-launch version, one that was leaked, but this may be false. Take it with some salt.

I'm new to speedrunning/video recording games.

Do you know of some of the best methods for recording a run? Particularly on a Switch family device?

Yeah. Cyan, aren't there only like a few categories for each game typically?

Also, do you know of a good alternate website that has a lot of varied run types? Or is speedrunner.com typically have the most varied run categories? If you know.

I invite/welcome anyone else to chime in if they know information about ir.
