Nice run! You can pin the timer by clicking the little icon next to it. Also not sure if beta versions should be tracked on the board as its subject to change but for now why not.
Hello everyone! So great to see so many of you running this goofy game. I think we should change the timing method from RTA. Instead we can time our runs with a sum of the in game timer. In other words, adding up the time after each level manually. This way crashes and inconsistent load times are not an issue. Let me know what you think.
Hi, the two original super mods for the series here: https://www.speedrun.com/sniper_elte_nazi_zombie_army haven't logged in for years and their social medias are also completely inactive. also, QuakeRanger a super mod for Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie army hasn't logged in for a year. Thanks
Hi me and my friend Tensesummer have been routing and running this game on Cadet Co-op. Any chance the category can be added on here? Thanks
Here's our current run
this is a very old post, but only in the NZA Trilogy they fixed the glitches. All the glitches work fine on the originals
Is there a general star wars speedrun discord server to get into contact with people?
Here is a link to the Bounty Hunter Discord for anyone interested in joining.
All three consoles are perfectly fine for going for the world record. The GameCube Gameboy Player and the DS have the same load times. The Wii-U is slightly behind in terms of loads (about 5 seconds max for the whole run). All Emulators have very quick load times in comparison to the consoles. Emulators are completely allowed to run on, however, when you get to the point that you are very close to the world record please move to a console. The world record run cannot be played on an emulator. The reason for this is that the time advantage is far too great.
Wii-U, GameCube GB Player, and DS load speeds are demonstrated in a video by Dalton. Load times are compared by 50 door transitions.
Emulator and Console differences are demonstrated in this video by 0xwas. Again this is shown by 50 door transitions. Details of this test are said in the description
In the Kirby Speedrunning community we want to get to know everyone, And bring in new runners! So leave a post to tell us a little about you.
Who are you? What Kirby games do you want to speedrun? What got you into speedrunning? Tell us anything about you!
As for myself, I am Halodude and i have been a speedrunner for about 2 years now. I started running when I saw some Youtube vids of AGDQ 2012/2013. What really caught my attention was the run of Metroid: Zero Mission. So I went and found my cartridge of it and I began to just try to play it quickly on my GBA for the fun of it. I did not feel like I was very good at MZM so I moved to Kirby: Nightmare In Dreamland. I originally expected no body ran the game but then I found out about NeoShine and Dezero and I started to learn some of their strats. At this time the Any% WR was about 45 minutes if I remember correctly. Then I started to stream in June of 2013. Also I used to run NES games like Mega Man and DuckTales. As of today I run Knid, Halo: Reach, and I decided to go back to Metroid: Zero Mission!
