Hi guys,
I've been reading guides and routes for any% sorceress runs for the past couple of days, my only question is how do you guys normally start practicing for a run? I've played this game casually since the first day it came out (on and off), so I'm very familiar with the game. Should I just go for a run right away and whatever time I get is the time I beat? How do you think I should approach it? Maybe take it act by act? Any input helps!
Does anybody else get input lag in the armory room?
Sometimes it's just when i spawn the banana ghost. But in some runs the whole armory room segment was just lagging really badly.
I'm playing the US NTSC version on my Wii btw.
So....just as my run couldn't get worse...this happened.... (Contains Profanity)
Good day everyone,
I am quite new to the speedrun community and decided to start looking into speedrunning Luigi's Mansion. I have a few questions regarding the game and speedrunning the game:
-
Hidden Mansion : I know that in order to unlock the Hidden Mansion you must have beaten the game at least once. But, in order to keep playing this mode, do I need to avoid saving the game if I want to continue using this mode? Like in case i want to reset my run?
-
We all know that the Japanese edition has faster texts, can the Japanese version of the game be purchase in the Wii Store? (P.S. I only have a Wii U)
-
Is speedrunning the game on Virtual Console Legal?
I have more questions, I just can't think of them at the moment xD
I am currently playing the game (casually) on my GameCube (English Copy). I own a AverMedia capture card, but do not own the component cables (since it's pretty expensive). I'm going to have to find another way of recording my runs in the future.
If you guys have more information on what's legal or what's not for speedrunning this game, please let me know :)
Regards,
