Hey everyone, I'm looking into learning how to speedrun this game. Is there a practice rom available for this game? Maybe with save states or level select? Everdrives for GB with save states are expensive, and I want to avoid having to buy one if possible :)
Quick question: how did the 2nd bump push Mario 11 pixels forwards? I tried getting fast 4-2 for 20 minutes and this is the first time the game pushed me 11 pixels. I haven't seen it in the past at all, so can someone explain what happened here?
I have been thinking about this for a couple of days: If there's "All Stars Warps" and "All Stars Warpless", why is there no "All Stars 1 Warp"? Is this a cool idea for on the Cat. Ext LB?
I'm just going to do more runs in the NSMB series where runs get verified within less than a day. I won't pay any more attention to these runs ever getting verified and have a good night everyone!

Hey guys, almost a month ago I submitted a 5:01.121 and it's not verified yet. I see other runs being verified within a day, so could someone verify it? Btw I also submitted a 1-warp run and a MWE run about 2 weeks ago :)
How about the exact rules? When you grab an acorn, is the run invalid, or do you have to take a death? I think the run should be invalid.
Died a few times in the final level (thanks to the awesome bowser junior) and once in 8-1. I believe it was a 52:51

What about this: an extra category. So we would have any%, 100%, secret exit, and low%. So it is more like a seperate category. and just beating a level as small mario is always possible.
Hey Guys, I came up with an idea for a potential miscellaneous category: acornless%. This obviously means: everything but the acorn/pcorn powerup is allowed to beat the game. I know there have been many requests for very interesting/special miscellaneous categories in the past, but I think this one could fit pretty well into the leaderboards. I have seen this category in a few Rom Hacks of this game already, and it works well there. The acorn is a very interesting power up, that makes levels easier and some faster too. I know there's already low%, but that category is just a brutally hard category for most people. In this category, checkpoints would be allowed and you wouldn't die immediately when taking a hit. I like the idea and I'm curious how you guys think about it.
