Oregon, USAive been doing runs on my ps3 as i prefer to speedrun games on console. I would like to upload a run but theres no option for it and the category extensions arent for full game runs, Could we get a console only category?
I would agree to having a 100% category. would make for an interesting run and routing would be a challenge that im sure would be enjoyable to figure out
Since the PC is much faster due to framerate wouldn't it make sense to split the categories by console and PC to make the runs more fair? I want to run the game but the PS2 version only runs at 30fps and PC runs at 60 or above which gives it much more of an advantage. Path of neo has the category split and I think enter the matrix should have the same split as well.
yeah a console category for xbox would be nice to have. i have it on og xbox the steelcase version and would be great to see the xbox category added. if its added ill submit a run
So I noticed that the all cog tags% percent doesn't have a console and PC separation which there should be. Also there should probably be a category for the hardest difficulty run. I plan to do a few of those runs and would like to see those categories before I post them
this is just a request for the mods to update categories. since there are dlc out now they have added an apocolypse mode which should be added as a categorie for new game etc. also can there be a categorie for the new dlc Subject 2923? i dont think there should be one for swamp of corsus though unless someone else wants it but there is really no ending for it to my knowledge. but i could be wrong. hope the mods agree that this stuff needs to be added. Looking forward to running this amazing game!
Posting this again since i havnt had any feed back yet. still havnt been able to get the mods of the games i want to be a mod for to message me back and it shows that they are still inactive
im only requesting to become a mod because the game that im requesting i run all the time and havnt been able to get my run approved after weeks of trying to get ahold of the mod of all their social medias. the game is called brothers in arms road to hill 30 and is a game im very passionate about and i would love to become a mod for the game and take time to approve runs and manage the community that runs that game. but i havnt been able to get the mod to respond to me since they are the only mod. https://www.speedrun.com/biarth3 this is the link of the game. thank you for your time.

I second this. Im a PC gamer and runner. i like to run games using emulators if its a console only game, plus so many other speedrun games have emulators allowed. this would be a great way to help resurrect running this game. i plan to upload my run soon and very happy to hear that it will be accepted since its an emulated ps2 version.
In my personal opinion i dont think this should be allowed. but thats my own opinion. its up to the mods to make the determination if its allowed or not. for me its a no go.

so ive been reading in the forum for splinter cell and other various games that allow both quick save and quick load. some people are for it and others are against it. i think its okay but there should be a category for QS/QL and one category without it to please both sides of runners. In my own opinion im against it because you can have an almost perfect run without trying too hard. but if its allowed there should be categories to seperate the two. i just started running this game but havnt posted my times yet. i dont quick save and quick load so my times will not stand up too well to the current times and would like the addition of the categories mentioned above. if not thank you for taking the time to read this. ill still be posting my time eventually lol ;)
so i wanted to run the game and the only problem is i dont have the pc version or the ps1 version cause the cost of the copys are very high. Would it be okay to run the game if im using an emulator?

Did you ever get the auto splitter working as it should?
ive never used an auto splitter so the tutorial would be helpful.
