Cause if you start the level with the weapons that you are not supposed to have, it will be considered cheating

I think, that the best decision would have been to create a poll, whether to delete everything or not, and only then decide. But what's done is done.

Im not disrespectful or smth, its just, was a surprise for me, since nobody complained about DOOM on srcom.

Well, DSDA is super unintuitive and it's super hard to navigate. I spent around 20 minutes to find e1m1 on the leaderboards and yet couldnt find it. Not to mention the design that hasnt changed since the very birth of this website. And, about moderation, the time that it takes for run to approve is up to moderators of the game and not to srcom mods.

DSDA is a bad website. That's kinda bad that you decided to delete all of the ILs on srcom. Its just, all of the new players wont submit to dsda because of its hemoroid way of run submissons.

Well, yea, autosplitter doesnt work with the current version of the game unfortunatley. And the guy who made the autosplitter for the previous version of the game isnt active atm. But actually you don't need a livesplit to run the game anyways, since the ingame timer is precise.

If you get a higher time, then you'll be higher on the leaderboards. The leaderboards times are reversed, so to speak, so the higher your time is, the higher you'll be on the leaderboards.

Hey everyone so I'm gonna make this short because I have to go to work shortly.

I was made a moderator for the Classic Doom's here on SRC, and there's going to be changes.

1) All IL's/Episode run categories are going to be removed

This is because DSDA exists. There's no logical reason for IL's/episodes to be hosted here when there's already a site dedicated for them.

2) Doom II, Final Doom to be removed entirely

For the same reason above, DSDA hosts demos for these two titles, and don't have categories that can't utilize demos Unless E1=E3 of Doom 1.

3) Demos are no longer required for submission

As stated above, anything requiring a demo will be directed to DSDA. The leaderboards here will be for full game runs only.

4) Rule revamping

This is still a work in progress, but things may change. Unsure at the moment of typing this.

Any runs currently in verification will either be rejected and directed to DSDA if it's an IL or single episode run.
Current existing runs on the board for those will be deleted soon. 

Sorry if there's any inconvenience here, but there's just no reason for these boards to exist the way they do on this site when DSDA already hosts it. If people want to run Doom and submit on here still, the Unity port is the most popular and hosts ALL of these categories, and more, including category extensions for the add-ons, and 2 community-made map sets.
