I recently just downloaded OBS and was wondering what you guys would recommend for a tutorial to create a layout. I literally don't know anything about implementing timers. I was nursed on xSplit and am switching over (because money) and thought I should ask the community for advice.

So I was looking for footage of runners to study up on how to workshop my first run. I found Paper Mario so whenever I get a chance to run those glitches I will.

However a game I want to run called Mega Man Network Transmission for the Gamecube hasn't shown up for me at all on the site. Is it just a game no one cares about and I'm all alone? haha

I should first say hi I am new here and don't know much about the community but I'm very interested. I want to start running Paper Mario (N64) and a game called Mega Man Network Transmission (GCN).

So I've been watching the SGDQ 2016 and I've fallen in love with the idea of speed running. The only thing I'm afraid of is that I'm not good at getting frame data or counting frames in general, I've gone off muscle memory and intuition for a majority of my gaming career. I didn't know if there was a correct way to study a game or not, so any help would be appreciated. At this point I'm just going to try and do a 'for fun' run until I'm comfy.
