Hello guys, I've seen some speedrun of dkc2 and I'm amazed of how fast you can beat this game, I had so much trouble with when I was a child. Shouts out to all speedrunners!

When I was little I recognized something, I had a pretty strange glitch I've never forgotten. I started a new run and made world 1 all 100% then moved to the second world. And when I payed that Kremlin dude to gain access to the secret word and Bam! I was able to fight K. Roll in the "final stage". I don't know how I accessed it, but I'm pretty sure you know how to find out. I don't know if this helps you, but I registered just to tell you :) hope you can do something with this information.

BTW I didn't die 1. World but died after some tries to K. Roll. And after reloading the game, I didn't have access anymore. I can remember it so good because I've never seen him in the lost world before.
