Any%, no TJ, no OoB, glitchless, and 100%. (But not credits warp or no death mode, because... come on, that's going too far.) :)

Don't worry, this should be a super simple fix:

Just don't move after you get teleported to the ship. Just go through the cutscene after finishing intermission 1, and then only hit enter to select a spot to teleport, without flipping or moving left or right beforehand.

I'm pretty sure this only specifically applies to Space station 1 teleporter with gravitron skip. ALSO, If you accidentally move, i think you can still fix it by teleporting to any other spot on the map, teleporting back to your ship and not move, and then teleporting to space station 1.

Whoa! thats weird. I've seen a LOT of glitches in this game but I've never seen this one... what version of the game do you play this on? Also were you playing the warp zone time trial when this happened or a different level?

On PC, unrestricted any% uses the text storage glitch to basically go straight to credits. (The way this works is really complicated...) But that's the PC version. I don't actually know if that text storage glitch even exists on the iOS version. If someone could confirm whether text storage works on iOS, then that would be great... Here's the thing: if text storage does NOT work on iOS, then this glitch could potentially be really useful. (I looked on the leaderboard, and it seems that there are no runs submitted for any% on iOS.) I don't have the iOS version of the game, but I would love to see any% on iOS optimized, because I feel like this glitch could be useful. If text storage DOES work in the iOS version, then unfortunately this glitch probably wouldn't be used in unrestricted any%. Either way, I think it's cool that you found a new(?) glitch on the iOS. I always love finding new glitches.

Hey, I know this forum post is super old but... Here you go, I guess. Got a 9:44 with some optimization.

EDIT: Okay, To get this to work I had to use the non steam version of the game, version 2.0. If that doesn't work, try setting FPS to 60. (Yes, it's 30 FPS game, but just try it.) If that doesn't work, set Multithreading and Wait sync to Allow. Got this info from marc2427. Thank you marc2427! (One other thing I discovered: When having issues with sound, try disabling sound mixing in the sound tab. And if inputs don't work, what I did was to go into the input tab, Configure game input, Click and drag to select EVERYTHING, and then hit disable. Hit okay, go back to configure game input, and set the keys to what you want.)

This is amazing, great job! I have a question though, I've been wanting to TAS this game for a long time, to help learn consistent setups and also just for fun. But, I don't know what tools to use. I tried using hourglass, but apparently that program doesn't work with 64 bit windows 7 PC, which is what I have. Is hourglass what you used to make this? Do you know any other way to TAS this game?

I'm not sure what is up with those checkpoints. I already know what checkpoints to die on and why, but there have been times when I died but somehow didn't grab the checkpoint even though I was touching about 80% of it, and other times when it works fine even though I was touching only about 45% of it. What's up with the weird collision on these checkpoints? Is there a consistent setup that I am missing? Help would be very much appreciated.

Another thing to add is that when Viridian is up against the wall, as close as he can possibly get, his sprite will be one pixel away from the wall. Having him directly against the wall will not work. You have to move just one extra pixel, so that his sprite is two or three pixels away from the wall. So, the screenshot you have shown is the closest you can get him to the checkpoint and still have it work. It will take practice, but once you figure out the timing it becomes pretty easy.

Hi, I'm a bit new to speedrunning this game, but I didn't see in the rules whether or not a controller/gamepad is allowed. I use a PS2 controller just because I happen to have one and a USB connecter for it, but I don't see anything in the rules specifying if I have to use the keyboard or a controller (controllers are much easier for me.) I just wanted to clarify this before I submit any runs.
