I've nearly put 3k hours in this game, I know what's possible and what's not. Where are these better runs which you speak of? Also, how did you time your splits? It might be the whole issue here.

When factoring loading times, some of your splits beat time trials world records.

8:16 Mushroom Cup is complete bullshit and so is the rest of your run. None of your single race splits are achievable to begin with, pulling them off all in one go is even more ridiculous.

The base combo is MM/B-Dasher/Monster/Heavy glider There are slight changes you may want to make for some cups.

Shell: Use Paraglider, unless you use RNG shrooms on rMG

Banana: Use slick wheels (No off road except rMC2). Flower glider only if going for the pasta strat.

Lightning: Use paraglider for DDJ

What run is that which you speak of? Anyway, an easy set up is putting your cellphone slightly over the edge of a table, so that the phone camera records the 3DS. Doesn't matter if the video is upside down, someone can always flip it.

I've gotten 9:46 so far, bs mid-9:30s. Sub 9:30 is possible, sub 9:20 is likely possible, sub 9 isn't possible. I won't submit another time until 8:53 by Portal on Flower Cup is removed.

The Flower Cup WR is most likely fake, the glitch hardly saves 5 seconds. I'll have a couple more attempts at it but right now I am positive it is impossible. The submitter probably made a typo or something.

I'll practice without recording, if I do beat it, I'll record another run.

I'll solve the problem by beating WR in all categories and providing proper footage of everything.

Video proof should be a necessity to claim WR.

Single segment means it was done in one go, segmented is pretty much just taking your best splits and putting them together.
