also in regards to having a Specific ending time, I'm all down for it, but this game is "open" in the meaning that you can do anything you want to complete in any order, so it would kind of hard to say "This has to be the last thing you Need to do" imo. In moments like this i would look on other runs on speedrun.com with similar situations to see what do but i don't think there are many runs like this, so i have no clue lol. What i can think of rn would be: For lessons "On final checkmark" For Minigames "On Closing the final Score box" (As in Pitch perfect speedrun)" and for Music Recordings "Upon closing the (text box about the recording being done, i don't remember what it says rn sorry :))"
Wii Music is really weird to "100%" complete, since there is no In game tracker that says what you have completed except for in Pitch perfect and Lessons, so there is a lot of questions both of us have. I didn't think of adding "Playing All Songs" to the requirement since about 70% of the songs are "Copyright Protected", and also it doesn't add anything completion wise. I do feel like we should fill out the recordings page imo, so we would play enough songs to have enough recordings to fill out that part. Otherwise I'd say "Play all minigames, All Lessons, Unlock All Songs, Unlock all Instruments, Fill Recordings Page" would be decent, what do you say?
Sorry for the long delay, we have successfully set a set of rules for the any% category, and we will have a rules set for 100% after we know what it would actually entail. :)
I've also sort of tossed around the idea of what a Wii Music 100% run would be like. Imo a 100% run might require all Lessons, both regular And Drum lessons w/ the balance pad, unlock all instruments, play every song in both Mii Maestro and Handbell Harmony, and beat all 8 levels of Pitch Perfect. It would probably be a Walking DMCA Takedown notice with all the music, along with kind of being a meme, but i would definitely run it. If you want to do a 100% run with this, let me know here, and i will make a Leaderboard Page and I'll even join in the runs!
Hi I own the game and would love to eventually run it, but i am afraid of over-patching, if its even a thing. How should I go about getting to the 2.0 patch? Do I need Homebrew? is there just an Option for patch?
I did a speedrun for Wipeout 3, the game based off of the TV show. I checked this site, and saw that the First Wipeout Game Had a leaderboard, and for that reason and also the fact that i want to run other games in the series, I got a series leaderboard created for the series. How should I go about getting the leaderboard for the first wipeout game "Wipeout: The Game" into the series "Wipeout (TV show)"? Thanks :)
