So I've been running something I like to call "battleruns". you can do it solo, or co-op. It's where you speedrun to a set amount of points in battles. SO i've been doing it to 20 points co-op in balloon battle, but you could do it in anything. You could also do as few as 1 and as many as 4 people. For me it's really fun. A category idea I had was 100 stars. The interesting thing about this is there are so many ways to do it. Plus you could have categories like 200, 300, 500 etc. The one problem I see with this category is that it may become 10 demons or 20 demons. Anyway that's my idea.

Beat 1-2 while getting all coins in the spring area, then enter the pipe with the piranha at the checkpoint and get to the Mega mushroom/goomba room. Then beat the level. My best is a 332, but I expect 340 to be possible.

Is this game dead? I have posted runs and forum posts, but there has been no response or verification. Is MK8DX the only Mario Kart I should speedrun. I don't own a switch and this game is so fun for me to run. Thanks.

Why do you do a different metro freerunning route? Is it because the captures take longer in RTA?

After a run is there a way for me to easily reset top the beginning of the game? Or do I have to make a new Mii every time?

you could die after collecting the checkpoint and run from there. I don't know. It could be something. You could also do a "to checkpoint" IL run.

So you can clip through edges in this game. I have been running what I call "clip%". I basically go into Toad Harbor in time trials and clip into the wall as fast as possible. My PB in this is 43 sec. also I don't know how this would be formatted. Do you do different runs for different courses? I don't know. But I just had this idea and I decided to share it.
