For anyone who speedruns this game or has had a time in the main mode of the game, which is the main story mode, there's been a new update. From the time of it's inception back in 2015 by CrystalChaos who created it up until recently, the name of this category was called "Beat the Game".

However, as of June 27th, 2022, the name of this category has been changed to "Scenario Mode" to both better fit the congruity of the the two Custom Robo games on N64, but also as to give it a proper name that is more traditional to the cannon Japanese name of the mode. And so from this moment onwards, all submission will be done using the new name of the category.
