I don't think PS2 and PSP are together because they are "equal", but because they are unpopular, so they are together in the same category as other unpopular versions. If you want to see just PS2 times you can just go on filters and change platform to PS2. But then again, PS2 is the most popular category on "others", so a separate category won't necessarily hurt.

On a side note, I do believe the auto-destruct attack is possible in the PS2, just hold Square + X, but I could be remembering wrong.

Can't we just have 4 categories? Any%, Any% NMG, Any% "No Skips", 100pp

Any% would be everything allowed

Any% No Major Glitches would be what we have today

Any% "No Skips" would allow the new glitches, but with restrictions, like no fake recruitments. "No Skips" may not be the best name.

That way, people run whatever category they like the most.

Hi there, I would like to know what appearances DMC games have in Marathon events. I usually find marathon runs to be a lot more informative about the game, that's due to the fact that most speedrunners doesn't want to keep explaining what they're doing every single attempt and I don't blame them, no one wants to explain the same thing a hundred times.

That said, personally I think that every game/series should have a topic containing all marathon runs for reference. Of course that's no feasible in the foreseeable future, but hey, we have to start somewhere, right?

So then, I'm only aware of 5 marathon appearances of DMC games:

Devil May Cry - AGDQ 2011 - Dante NG+ Dante Must Die (Not so sure about the category, current leaderboard don't seem to include a NG+ categories, if someone can help me with that I would be grateful)

Devil May Cry - AGDQ 2012 - Dante NG+ Dante Must Die (same as above)

Devil May Cry 3 - AGDQ 2013 - Dante NG+ Very Hard (awful run as far as I'm aware)

DmC: Devil May Cry - ESA 2015 - NG+ Heaven or Hell Glitched

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition - AGDQ 2016 - Virgil NG Devil Hunter

A few things I would like to say/question:

1 - I just wanted to point out that Bus Depot and Farm have no PaP Machine, so there's no need for that category.

2 - Also, when I select Tranzit - Solo it still shows the EE categories even tho it's impossible to do those with less than 2 players, wouldn't be better if it didn't show that at all?

3- On a similar note, when I select Tranzit - Solo, the EE categories doesn't have a "(empty)" marker even tho they have no runs, that's due to the fact that there is runs for those categories with more than a single player, is there a way around that? I mean, is a little annoying to select Buried - Solo, see the Round 30 category without a (empty) marker just to click it and found it to be empty.

4 - Also, why Tranzit is the only map that has separate categories for Maxis and Richtofen? Lack of demand perhaps?

5 - BTW, there's a typo on Maxis's EE category on Tranzit, it appears as "Enging" instead of "Ending".

6 - Would be fun to see a category in which the player had to complete all three Richtofen EEs or all three Maxis EEs in a row in order to activate the final ending in Buried, but I guess that until someone does that, there's no reason for a new category.
