Kreedz Climbing. It is a mod for Half-Life 2 that is about climbing maps. Speedrunning those was what got me into it, that was about 2005 or so... I've loved it ever since.
1: Default on, but I'm going to say that names should be aligned to the left instead of centered - it'll look uniform that way. Flags should be on to show off the internationality of the speedrunning community and allow speedrunners to represent their country.
2: No mod or sub badges, at all, on leaderboards. These show off status within the community or on Twitch, and that's unfair to others on the leaderboards that may not have partner or mod status.
3: Images are fine with me. I have no argument for or against them.
+1 to mobiusman for the national flag instead of regional - I identify more with the US flag than the NC flag.
Do we have any idea what causes the "stuttering" softlock? This here:
It has been happening so much to me lately and killed a great run on stream tonight. What's happening?!
Do you think this is more consistent than the standard zip strat?
Also, your SKeys are transparent. How did you manage that, if you don't mind me asking? I seem to be unable to do it with FFSplit.
I think we can all agree that Any% No Dupe is a good call, then.
Some interesting stuff has been going on here, but I can't see myself enjoying running a game (or route) that's based around strats I have to implement by exploiting a poorly coded replay system. So I think we should establish some distinctions here for a new category.
Any% Replayless? And, while we're at it, 100% Replayless? I'd say "Glitchless," but that brings some semantics into play - for example, is driving the thief to his own hideout in The Chase fair play in "Glitchless?"
Since it's been shown that these replay glitches don't really affect SA running, what about III?
