IMHO a WR is the fastest time made in a category, even if you're alone. Because a WR made on a game which is run by only one guy can be really optimised and be hard to beat.
LiveSplit isn't running on Mac yet, but it's planned.
Plus, if you want a Mac timer, look there, there is 4 differents timers softwares running on Mac : https://kb.speeddemosarchive.com/Mac_Recording_and_Streaming
Beyond this, some region flags are confusing, there are at least 3 same region flags in Ireland.
And I could mention the same or similar region flags from different country.
If it displays a useful information that normally you can't access, this is a game gameplay modification, you shouldn't have access to these informations :/
Run RPGs with 5 minutes cutscenes, ahah Or just run on toilets, that's a solution.
I believe that the general rule is : Any mods that changes gameplay (and not only esthetic parts of the game) are forbidden.
If you're having a black screen, that's because you're not configurating it with a game or a window capture :/
And for the memory, it depends of the resolution you want to have in output (you can configure that too)
For example, I stream/record with a downscaled resolution of 780x438, one hour is ~320 Mbs, so for a resolution of 1920x1080, it could result with a 1950Mb vid. But I believe OBS compress it a bit but I'm not sure
You can use OBS, it's free and you can either use it to stream and record or just record localy.
I don't know how, but a run is still up on the front page : http://www.speedrun.com/run/69257 Because it's said that it was done on June the 26th (He is Australian so he actually done that on the 26th) but it makes all the others runs to go down and make it stay on the top of new runs :/
I suggest a way to convert time in UTC while submitting or something like that.
It's planned, but I don't think it will be in the next update
Maybe look at MrWalrus vids on youtube : https://www.youtube.com/user/TheWalrusMovement/videos
I meant query WR in general, so I'm a bit "dissapointed", but I'll look at that anyway C:
I didn't look too much in it, but, will it be possible to query the latest WR coming on the website ? Could be useful
LiveSplit AutoSplit scripts react to the memory so, by looking into the RAM, it can't "see" or "listen". Maybe next week, I'll look at that if you want, I just need to reinstall the game :/
Writing an autosplit script isn't hard to do, the hardest thing in this is to find how to time it (even if I have an idea) Still if Overkill makes a timer for you, it'll be simpler c:
You could use the LiveSplit Auto-spliter for example c: As long as someone make the AutoSplit script
I know you're friendly ;)
I didn't see it so, I just remind you :D But I know that could be difficult to implement and this is not in a hurry :)
I don't know if it was already suggested (And I make this here to avoid being reprimanded by Gyoo Kappa ) but it could be great to have a "Mark all forums as read" :)
I hope you then that you accept my apologies for suggesting a Suggestion forum into a Suggestion thread Kappa
The thing is that 90% of "The Site" forum could be in feedback thread, and I don't have any problem with always writing in this thread, but an unique thread makes it hard to debate on a feedback or a possible feature if everyone debates on everything.
