i'm 13 too, and although i kinda suck, i do have respectable times in many games i guess
I'm 10 years old and I'm trying to do a world record for youngest speedrunner. I'm trying to speedrun RE:RUN lol
They say a fool is born every minute, so I guess I was born a few minutes ago. Does that count?
Only asking because I'm actually just a few minutes younger than Earth itself, and that might be just a little more than what would qualify.
But for real, @Garsh is on point here. Believe me, I was young once, I signed up with fake ages and stuff a lot too, but like, under 13, don't actually say.
Also as a tip from personal experience, make sure you actually write down the fake birthdates you use. You'll never know when that'll be required to recover a password or account. I've had to pay for that mistake more than once so far.
I think that posting your age publicly is a silly risk to take, speedrunning is great and most of the community are wonderful people but on any site this large there is always the risk of predators lurking out there trying to take advantage of young people. Super frustrating and unfortunate when you are understandably trying to connect with people your age in a hobby you are passionate about, so be very careful who you talk with and what you tell them about yourself.
I'm 15, but I've practiced a LOT of Super Mario Odyssey. I have 4 runs on my profile and just recently submitted a 1:23:24 Any% time today. I wouldn't call myself "great" or anything, but I do know a thing or two about the game.
Who are the youngest GOOD speedrunners? I am 13 and I want to find runners for any game my age.
Doom got a in Mario Kart Wii at 11 I believe. That was back in 2009/2010 though. In more recent news, a player called Jyran got 2nd worldwide on Grumble Volcano glitch when he too was 11.
