If this does make a run invalid, does anybody have any solutions?

I stream directly from my xbox, onto twitch, and highlight the VOD as my run. Just had a great run, but at a couple points throughout the run the VOD just shows a swirling xbox logo. I don't know what caused this or how to fix it. Does this make a run invalid? I would really like to keep using this method (twitch from xbox, highlight vod, upload here) as it is no extra cost to me, but I do not want to have this happen again and potentially ruin a very good run.
