Just to voice my opinion, I support putting the bikeout category back in. Can't really support making the runs without having a solid leaderboard to compare your stuff to. Friend of mine has been running it on and off, No skips and Official checkpoints only.
Here we go! Finished it up, let me know if I'm missing anything. https://docs.google.com/document/d/12VlmUXxfgmnBEFVMLMJphprka3-kwFoCS2iHbluGPog/edit?usp=sharing
Still planning on posting this! I've had some issues since I haven't been able to play on 1.201 with the steam patch months ago and they're taking their sweet time uploading the legacy version 1.201. I wanted to experiment with some things, but I might just watch the video and finish off the guide. I'm 3 levels in the guide I believe.
So I am currently working on a guide that encompasses universal mechanics and tips, character mechanics and tips, and most importantly any% and rune% level routing walkthroughs, including every detail and possible routing for each run type. Just finished up level 2, so there are 3 more to go. This is going to be comprehensive as hell, so that anyone watching a speedrun can see the small optimizations and such.
I'm liking this game so far, though I'm finding the main strat is avoidance which is fun too, but for variance I'd love to see an alternate route which involves killing every enemy in the game. Any interest in this?
Thanks for the reply! Good to know, just figured I'd check in before making a video
Do you have to change characters every time they're unlocked, or can you just do the entire run as, say, pumpkin, unlocking every character and all 6 runes, all without restarting?
How in the love of god do you deal with those guys reliably? Do they change movement patterns based on distance? Firing? Facing, or facing changes? I can't figure out a way to reliably manipulate them.
Submitted my 11:43 from yesterday, but also... Got 11 minutes on the dot just now. Feeling so good about it!
Thanks! I got another one really close to 13, but I know I can get to sub 13 if i work at it so I'll be updating when I can get closer to 12.
I'm working towards a whole lot of Rune%, but that's because I just can let that tiny spirit stay trapped XD
Got pumpkin rune% down to 13:10 so far. I need to work out actually reliable strats for the bosses to get better times. And I also need to find better ways of dealing with those leeches. They make it hard to be fast T_T
Halloween Forever is a fun. Has some interesting breaks, variability, pretty short (10min WR atm), and needs some more members. Pretty cheap too.

This makes a lot of rooms in the middle levels much easier. I wonder if there is a way to do this for ladders that don't start at the ground
Hi there, I've got a solid 20 hours on this game and I was sorta interested in running it as my intro to speedrunning. I was wondering if anyone else still does, and might want to talk about it, hash out some strats
I know its a small game, but I figured I'd try, thanks!
