Hey, so I never ended up submitting my IL times from 2+ years ago for 9th head and puzzle pieces. I don't remember most of my strats, especially for the puzzle pieces, but is it fine if I submit my times with screenshots? I'd just like my times to be on the board, and there are too many levels to relearn them all immediately. I'm motivated to start playing again soon since Marisa has started playing and has beaten some of my times already, so together with her, we can probably get videos for all the levels eventually. Just having my times there for reference would be great for now.
can't submit this due to recording starting late so sharing it here
Do we need video proof for each level? Because I've grinded every level to a point where it's hard to improve much, but I have barely any ILs recorded, so it would be very inconvenient to record and try to beat or tie all of my IL times to submit them here. Would screenshots be accepted for now? If you're skeptical about any specific times (like puzzle piece times), then I can record a run to show what I do. Either way, I'll try recording next time I grind ILs so we can get good videos.
When you clear a stage for the first time, you have to wait for 9 seconds before you're back in the world hub. But after the first clear, you can quick retry after hitting the goal, then pause and exit to hub, which only takes 3-4 seconds, saving around 4:00 to 4:40 across the whole run based on execution.
In mirukono's New Game 1.01 run, they close the game after hitting the last goal of each world to skip the cutscene, and the game detects that they completed the stage without waiting the 9 seconds (Steam leaderboards also add your time as soon as you hit the goal).
So in a New Game+ run, would it be allowed to quick retry and exit after each stage? I personally see no reason why it shouldn't, and it would also set it apart from New Game more. You could just make it a rule that if you retry too quickly and don't actually clear the stage, you need to redo it or else the run doesn't count (menuing this fast shouldn't be necessary before reaching a high level).
Currently the time/score format is 1:00.xxx (1m 00s 235ms for 23520 points). Wouldn't it make more sense to be yy.xxx (23s 520ms for 23520 points)? It shows the full score, and looks much nicer in my opinion. A perfect score should be 26240 points, so it'll never reach 6 digits either.
