What's your best time/character. I think I could break my wr but with this game being dead I have no motivation.

Did you listen to the bad commentary I did? Do you have any tips you think I missed?

Sad I was thinking co-op. We could race though, that would be fun. Not sure if we have enough followers though. I think your my only one.

I was thinking of doing some commentary on it, so it might be a later this week. Unofficially it's around a 38:13. Had a real clean first few levels. Not a great boss fight at the end though.

PS any idea if we can do online doubles? Seeing as we play different characters I think we could set a high bar.

I'm just saying for while it's still relatively unpopular we might want to combine categories so people coming in can see the whole thing. It's up to you though, if to feel it's better to keep characters separate that's fine. In planning on getting up some other runs to try and fill it out

I say run only hard. If your speed running this have there really isn't much of a difference. I'm talking like Diablo 2. They have a leader board of all characters and they play much more differently than GA3. Then you could filler it. I just feel like we're the only two runners for now, and it's too small to be split up now. Maybe later we could divide it down if we get more runs and runners

I've seen other boards that have different characters in one list, and then sub divided by character after.

ok, exporting the run now, then ill upload to youtube, and send it in. looks like it came out at 41:08. is there a reason you run the panther? sara's combo attacks seem broken. both are super fast, one is low damage, almost impossible to disrupt, and the other is high damage and only slightly slower. plus it doesn't take nearly as long as the panthers.

i think i just got a 41:04 ish run. should i edit my recording down to just the run, or leave in the parts where its dead air/forgetting to stop recording?

edit: also what are we using as official start, and end points. i think you were using after the first dialogue box fades to start, and after the second boss fight when the screen starts to turn dark?

I've played the game in the past and done well. I play Sara, as I'm pretty sure she's broken as hell with her special attacks. I haven't optimised the runs at all so there's a world of improvement. I just did my first run after years of not playing and got a round a 52 min clip, but I was Rusty as hell. If anyone's willing to help map out the path, or to try and beat me when I record a time that would be cool. I also have a friend who's gonna try to set a couple co-op world record. I think when we both played a lot we got a 25ish time at some point.
