What's up with n1nj4ofshr3d?

I've never seen such an unsocial uh, person...ever! No offense, dude...but your decision making is...questionable...to say the least! Blocking me on Twitter because I said hi, asked for run approval, sent a nice pic...and you like "fuck you" Ace! ...Wanna explain (unblock me and PM)?

Was there a different way to address him? Like Twitch, YouTube, or Discord?
yes
To me this seems like personal drama taken to public forums, and it seems like it will only get worse, and I can see it snowballing into a drama/flaming thread. Believe me I've had experience taking personal issues that can be solved in PMs into main forums. It doesn't end well...

It's okay...I'm just speaking off of personal experience.

I get it, already twitch'd him!

(if it turns out to be something worse, I'll ask for mod removal or smth)

Obviously he became a mod not because he hates people!

Should I /del the thing?

I thought I could get a word outta him, some kind of reaction... (funny thing is...he's the only alive mod out of 3 for the game I play, I think no run will be approved after this drama)

It doesn't really matter, because afaik even if you delete the first post it would still leave the other posts up, unless we both deleted our posts individually (which I'd be fine with doing). You should probably also contact him via another platform, and if he continues to block/insult/not verify your run then you could take that to http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7 . That would be the best thing as to not clutter the forums or start unnecessary drama. :)

That's what I thought, thanks for the heads up! @_@

All I'm going to say here is that you shouldn't underestimate the work & time the mods have to put into verifying runs.

You can't just ask a mod to verify your run - that you've submitted on the same day - "in 20mins or so", especially not, if it's like 5am for that moderator. Also it is not unusual to see runs being verified after some weeks. Get used to it. People have other stuff to do, give them some time and also, you know... respect.

Like some of the others already said above I don't really think it's a wise choice to ask one of the mods here to verify your run on your twitter, since it's not really connected to gaming in general to say the least, and there are not so many people who know/ want to bother to get in touch with you as a person who likes to spend your time on video games, so I doubt it's gonna even pay attention of the others just to have a brief look at your runs you claim you did a fine job, it just sounds like a personal matter over there.

And on top of that, I think it's much fairer to share your runs on the gaming community you want your record to be verified so that people can see how you did achieve your goal / your progress you made till now, not only the moderators on the forum but also the others sharing a common interest with you and interested to see how others did in the games they like to play on a regular basis. :)

Taken out of context! (which is very mean) I msg'd him that way cuz I had the run rendering, and no words like "hurry the freak up" were used if anything...20mins or so is for the run, not a person!

"Don't ask mods to approve your runs on twitter. They will approve it when they've reviewed it after they go on the site."

3 mods, 2 dead ones, 1 eh, j¤rk...what do you want me to say? (~game I play)

I had one with just 1 mod, but due to RL he dropped the comm!

I didn't know if the run will do good, ended up being a big pile of drama, cuz PEOPLE ARE NOT PERFECT, no blame!

dont make me hate people, thank you!

Maybe I was a bit naive, Internet is a wild place!

But I don't criticize anyone!

And I glad people have spoken bout their own problems too!
