After watching a bit of the last submitted run (the WR for now), I just wanted to point out you can press two directions at the same time in the password screen. This saves a bit of time, allowing you to go directly from 1 to 5, 1 to 6, 2 to 4, 2 to 6, and so on.
And as general rule, the early game should just be you Cybersteining into St Joan (possibly with Megamorph) until you get the BEUD pack.
So turns out the game uses the same initial seed when you soft reset.
What it means is that if you take the same amount of time to go from the Konami screen to the start of a duel (after the Rock Paper Scissors screen), you'll get the same deck orders for both players, resulting in the same actions, card draws, etc. You can get the exact same two duels pretty consistently.
I'm on other projects at the moment, but if you're interested into running this game, definitely start by reverse-engineering the PRNG.

Putting this here as well, in case anyone needs it. This lists the cards data, card drops, and probabilities for each card to appear in the shop after a duel. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-K7Or4W0LNWphIbQ83Sd20nTzauI6MFZ05wSJpoctV0/edit#gid=992392965
Download Pokémon Stadium Editor here (version 0.2). Windows only at the moment. It's only compatible with USA .z64 ROM at the moment, other languages support will be added later on. I'll clean source and make proper oop asap.
Randomizer, Type Chart edition, CPU Teams edition and Rentals edition, Base Stats and Learnsets are done. Scripts will be editable a bit later.
I'll write a proper description later! For now, simply hover over the elements with a ¤ to have a quick description of what does what in the Randomizer.
A few screenshots:
Checking "Fixed PRNG" fixes the pseudo-random number generator, so you can share your randomization (might be useful for races). Copy/Paste the 6 PRNG Seeds to the other runners, click Fixed PRNG, then Randomize, and you're set.
Have fun !
This can be useful if you search for a card with a specific Attribute / Type / Cost / whatever: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VOEzBhbgGgsSYZsCfjPOQ_RojgrtDvVd_p3LN2DCfE0
I noticed in both current runs that the password entry is a bit clunky.
Just look at your password list, do not look at your GB screen, and either count your presses (mute the game during password entry in that case), or count the the sound effect that play when you change a digit.
I do sub 10 minutes for password entry with 39 passwords entered, I don't know if that's the best method but it works well for me.
