"I created aquaria discord though it would be stealing if vayarda created it now" There is no such thing as stealing. The point is the discord ownership, I would be more confident if it was RCHelicopter or Vayarda. When it's done, someone please post / send me a DM with a link, that would be great.
No need to bring the ad hominem argumentation. It's not a battle of whose life is better, it's a discussion about one millisecond. If it's that important, maybe a mod might change it; though it's not a really big deal, as Crixus underlined.
Does it actually matter? Anyone having a little bit of knowledge in NES hardware knows that a millisecond doesn't really matter.
Average verification time is a week. To balance, I'ld say you would need to be verified after 13 days, and you'll understand the preciousness of active mods. 3 days is nothing. And as Connor069AceofSpades696969 said, it says one day ago. Next time, be patient. If you have any suggestion about verification time, I suggest that you write it on a paper, then fold it, and put it in Uranus.
Ok, maybe the category could be competitive at some point. But it's not because you know a bit of the game that you can moderate the game. Nothing justifies that you could be mod. If you want someone active to be moderator, make RCHelicopter mod, he is active, he did most of the re-routing (post-vayarda era), he did the glitch hunting (including finding the Energy-form related skips) and has done . Alternatively, did you private-message vayarda? or RCHelicopter? If you want to discuss about it in private, it might be more appropriate, you can join discord and dm me.
How does that make you eligible to moderate the game?
@Horridhenry257 Not to mention obviously that all your contact links are dead links
To clarify about the Aquaria thingy:
- Yes, vayarda isn't much active.
- But vayarda has always verified in good times
- Contact RCHelicopter about Aquaria questions
- Most of the thing you propose as "categories" are kind of "limit-limit", by that I mean that they aren't at all completion of the game, more like very obscure goals.
- I find it weird that you always kept requesting moderating role without contacting anyone in the Aquaria community
- The race is faster to be done with the Fish form than with the Energy Form
- I am pretty sure RCHelicopter knows more than me about Aquaria and can contact you for more details.
Huh. What do you mean by "race%"? "Energy form%" would mean allowing energy form so I guess you are talking about any%. You don't even run the game, why adding you?
You can boot solo coop bindings to practice alone Alternatively you can politely ask in the discord server
Hold on, I haven't played HL2 in a while. Which map is that?
You can either use the following:
- Burn Heal
- Yago Berry
- Rawst Berry
- Lum Berry
- Full Heal
- Full Restore
- Rage Candy Bar
- Lava Cookie
- Old Gateau
- Casteliacone
- Lumiose Galette
- Shalour Sable
- Big Malasada
- Heal Powder
- Sacred Ash
You can also start a single battle and use:
- Heal Bell
- Aromatherapy
Or else, you can start a battle and use:
- Rest
- Refresh
- Psycho Shift
You might get lucky if the opponent uses Haze.
Finally, if you have Hydration and it's raining, you will be cured. If you have Shed Skin, you have 30% chance of being cured every turn. In a double battle, the natural cure Healer have 30% chance of healing you.
You can also go for TAS strats, it will remove the burn and give you poison so it's not really worth it.
By default, macros are banned in speedruns. You can find games having scripted categories (like Half-Life 2), however when two keys are bound with delay on the same key, it's banned in most cases.
Ok, not gonna like this is super cool. I think a lot of us have been thinking about doing the blindfolded run without actually doing it. This glitchless run doesn't require a lot of knowledge of the engine and of the tricks, but requires a deep knowledge of the inputs and of the map sounds which is super cool. This is a very cool part of speedrunning : you just learn everything about the game.
"This is the best TAS Video I have ever seen" -NathanAlmighty Is this the first TAS you have ever seen?
Framerule is a pretty hilarious system to TAS against.
Also good job on tying the TAS, it might be a good TAS exercise.
If you don't allow portal under the door in 09, why would anyone would allow that in 16? Also nice clip, I didn't know about that one.
"how to do the skip that makes all pistons stationary" it's trigger-based. Use showtriggers_toggle to see the triggers and to learn which triggers makes the piston moving. 31 is still high, though. Don't worry you will get sub 20 with enough practice.
