A-rank doesn't require all boos, gold frames, or all money collected. A-rank only requires 100,000,000 G.
"you dont run this game" I've completed any%, and you don't have to be a master at the game to point out categorical errors like this.
"100% of the achievements" This game doesn't have achievements or a percentage counter, it DOES have a count for all the money acquired , which for some reason isn't maxed out in 100%.
To clarify, I am not saying you shouldn't run this category. I am saying that you should call this category what it actually is. All I am asking is that you fix the name of the category.
Interesting, then SM64 100% would require getting all of them. Like I said, the category is "120 Star" not 100%. Likewise the current 100% category for LM should either be changed to A Rank + All Boos. Max% is the actual 100% category.
The thing with LM is that there is a max, each of the collectable money amounts is counted and there is a max score as a result from it.
SM64 doesn't track coins (only a star for getting 100), but LM does, and tracks you on it ingame. 142,390,000 G is the amount of money you get if you collect all of the cash/gems/etc, so that is what 100% should be.
Also, the category for SM64 is "120 Stars" which doesn't even hint at including getting all of anything that isn't stars.
Huh, I also noticed that 100% is basically a subset of SS NMG. I knew s+q was banned, but I had no clue about oob and yba. I thought the standard was "100% no eg no s+q" but I guess that's not the case.
Again, these misunderstandings can be cleared up by just stating these things and not hiding them. Also, why isn't there categories for 100% without the SS NMG restrictions? 100%, 100% no eg, and 100% SS NMG could all be quite interesting.

There is a finite amount of money to collect, and the current "100%" category doesn't collect it. That is straight up incoherent. Max% should be changed to 100%, and 100% should be changed to "Rank A + Boos"
Doom SS is because pausing/dieing ends the demo, doom demos require no saving in that sense.
SS NMG is not too long. It's actually shorter than any% NMG.
I guess the same concept applies to 100%. There's no indication that saving would be banned, so having SS 100%, or 100% no s+q would help that.
Exploration Glitch, YBA, and oob are banned in NMG. I get that. I don't get why saving is as well. Even if the category is historically a single segment one, you could just call it SS NMG, which is shorter and more accurate then any% NMG; but nobody does that, so I'm wondering why its called any% NMG when it's not that.
Things that would be better: SS NMG, NMG no S+Q, NMG 0 0 0, NMG 000, N0M0G0, legacy%
legacy% isn't descriptive, but at least it implies there are other restrictions, which NMG doesn't.

any% no OoB is ~1 hour.
but any% is called any% out of bounds and any% no out of bounds is called any% on the leaderboards. this needs to be fixed.
any% = fastest category
142,390,000 G is the max score in Luigi's Mansion (getting all rubys/pearls/diamonds/etc), but the 100% rules as currently defined by the community only requires 100,000,000 G.
Actual 100% is getting 142,390,000 G, getting all boos, and getting gold frames on all bosses.
The current 100% rules only get 70.22965096% of the 142,390,000 G. 70.22965096% is not 100%
