You have to name which characters you used during the run, so um... why? I timed every character's run speed, and... they are the same. So why doest it matter which character you play?
So, while doing a Speedrun, I realized that in the Jetpack levels, I've never been able to predict how many coins I had. This may be a problem, because, in all of the 4 aerial levels, there has only been one floating coin that I could collect. So should we Include coins in Jetpack levels in AllCoins? I don't think so. But I don't want to make the decision on my own.
I have never done this before, but I noticed that there was NO custom Poptropica logo on this site. I don't know how to add it or anything (A mod might have to do it or something) so here is a G+ link you can download it from https://plus.google.com/photos/photo/114061525570365625012/6339574257008059538?icm=false&authkey=CPe5_YD779-gswE
So I was doing an unstreamed run (I don't have the equipment to record off of the TV... yet) and I discovered a skip, purely on accident! (If it matters, I was playing with P1 Perry and P2 Phineas) In the level where you build an SD button in the robot factory, as most of you know, there is a part you must get, and once you collect it a glass cage falls on top of you, and so you have to get out of it. "If you could skip the glass dome falling on top of you," I had been thinking for a while, "you could save almost 45 seconds!" So on that whim, I decided to set the positions of the two characters so that if I switched control to the other character as soon as I collected the part, I could leave the dome before it fell and trapped me, and do all of the things you normally have to do to get out of the trap. It worked! Now once I get the hardware working to record a run, I should be able to show more of the details, but for now, here is a tip on performing it: you need to be on the yellow/black striped line when the thing falls. If you are too far away, you will be teleported back into the box. Being in the middle of the stripe puts you deep enough into the side of the dome to clip out, but close enough to the inside to not be teleported back in.
What could have been better about this thread? This is my first thread or guide, and it could really help if you told me what I could do better!
