Hey! I was very much in the same boat as you when I added this game to this website. It was found out last year that in order to get that last 1% you need to play the multiplayer mode, which requires another copy of the game. There's a picture to document the discovery but there hasn't been any recorded footage yet.

In terms of the speedrun, it's just kinda there to be there right now lol. If anyone is willing to go through the trouble to get that 100% save file they can take that gold trophy haha.

Also ideally, the best any% speedruns won't lose characters as you play through and unlock new characters

I'd be interested but how would the run work? Since entering a level runs on vigor. It'd just be IL's I presume right?

Honestly, the best way to improve is to just do more attempts and to try to memorize the maps. You were distracted by paths you really didn't need to take, so I'm sure eventually you'll get used to the route. Also skip cutscenes lol. The best set up other than using an emulator is to use a real cartridge, but if you don't have that, then really all you can do is the emulator. I use a cartridge so I have no idea how emulators work, sorry about that. Hope this helps!

I am a new World of Light runner who is starting with doing spiritless runs. I've done a NG+ run before but I'll probably eventually do NG runs so is there any guide for when to use skill spheres?

If you request a game, you get to determine the rules for the speedrun. You should play the game normally first, and show off everything. Then you can make different categories like any%, all autographs, and 100%

Some of the balloon levels don't let you label what location it is at. Also the rules aren't always the same for the two IL categories. You mispelled entrance as "enterance" on the balloon levels too lol

What counts as DLC? Seeing the category empty makes me want to try it out
