I don't get it
After mulling it over, I think I agree with you. Since it makes you play the game differently, timing convention should be after the last cutscene. Now, if we get input from enough people saying they want it changed I'm okay with that, but for now, let's keep it the way you originally stated, yeah?
I asked specifically for input from the people listed as mods for this game nearly 24 hours ago. Still no response. Their input would be valuable, I think. Additionally, they would be the ones who could actually physically implement the rules to this site, right?
Aight, man I'll try to post there and see if anything happens. I'll update this forum if they reply
I see your point, definitely, the one about making choices that affect the last cutscene. I suggest that we take this to the King's Quest Speedrun Discord, as I think that's where we will find our moderators and possibly the ones who quote unquote decide the rules.
Hi. Could you change my name to Pletcho please?
Maybe we could just name them differently? Like in-game 100% vs actual 100% or something, considering that is the actual difference. Just to make it a bit clearer, you know
well, I wasn't proposing that we ban getting upgrades for ASM. Currently getting one pistol upgrade in the any% strat I use.
I guess, I mean, if someone wanted to do a run where you mine all the gold and buy all the items as well, I don't see a problem with having that as a category. However, I can't imagine a lot of people would want to do that.
The game gives you 100% if you beat the main mission and the side missions. Buying the items or mining the gold is not necessary to get 100% in-game.
I could make the suggestion that we make it "finish all missions". That's what the game constitutes as 100%. Also that means that we won't need to look for gold anywhere or buy all the items.
I didn't know whether to write here or start a new thread or what, but I watched Sarou's run, and when he's doing the "save Clay" mission, he triggered a glitch where he clipped through the back of the laundry. I tried it myself, but I couldn't get it to work, does anyone have like a guide I could follow?
