Hi, for some reason, extreme battle is not an option on this edition, it will only allow me to play on the normal version of the game but its laggy as hell, anybody know how I can solve this? Thanks

Just to make sure it's not your version of the game that's causing issues first. I would do a fresh vanilla version of re2 and then try and see if it will work again. Here is the classic rebirth page again. If it still results in the same thing. I'm not 100% sure then. Gemini isn't on social media anymore it looks like.

@2KLS1, No worries dude. I'm not a mod or anything on here but I helped Gemini beta test his Rebirth patches before they were released. I've used all of his patches and I'm having trouble remembering if I also didn't see battle mode was gone or not since I don't play it that often.

Search in your config.ini for a line called SPECIAL and make sure to set it to SPECIAL = 0xf. That should unlock all the special modes (4th, To-fu, Ex. Battle and Gallery) Should be the default value as in PC version those modes are unlocked by default iirc but maybe you had it set to 0x0 for some reason.
