I would like to speedrun Xenogears someday. I see that there are some emulator speedruns on the leaderboards. Could someone please provide a list of emulators that are allowed for Xenogears speedrunning?

Emulators are something we've never really discussed. We primarily run the game on console because it will always be faster than emulation. PSXFin will work with the game just fine, but I think other emulators like Bizhawk will also work as well. ePSXe is really glitchy and versions above 1.6 are usually banned because of its inaccuracies. I've never tried out Duckstation, but it might be worth a try as it's generally allowed in other speedrun communities I've seen.

If you're planning on running Any%, only few emulators will be compatible with kernel menu. I will not provide the ISOs for Xenogears nor the Chocobo Mystery Dungeon demo disc (if you plan on running JP).
