there is completely no value in "making it the same experience". its a speedrun, im not resetting the whole game everytime i need to reset 10seconds in. thats stupid. if thats something youre worried about you should split console and emu runs, which likely isnt worth it as no one runs on hardware. "we sat down to discuss" and thats what you came up with? bonkers!

while youre at it at can you remove all my lag on emu? or can you add that into someones genesis?

last run i submitted was reviewed and authorised within a few days. not had any problems

hey @everyone, hope youre all gooood.

so @Wedgiroth and myself have been talking about arranging a little tournament/mini league competition. just putting the feelers out right now to see how many are interested and when people could be available .

the structure we have come up with so far would be a mini league with people earning points for positions in a singular races, across all 3 game modes (beginner / arcade / duel) using all 3 characters. we would all race the same category and character at the same time, fastest is first and so on. we also plan to host the race with commentary on twitch. the competition should only last about 1hr 30mins when taken average times into account.

we think this would be a great chance for people to try out new categories and hopefully bring some of the old runners back to the boards.

a friend and myself have been running this game together recently and were wondering if beginner and duel co-op categories could ever be added?

thanks guys, was a stressful 5hr stream grinding it. but totally worth it haha. look forward to seeing you guys challenge my time :)

doesnt all bosses use kalm skip aswell as warps/debug room??

No Guard Skip / Kalm Skip / CC skip / Return to midgar seems like the alternate category people are looking for IMO. it would pretty much be a beginner% / Classic% ?? with no major skips and following the story how it should be. probably be the least daunting on new runners looking to get into the game also. im all for keeping all the minor glitches throughout the run Jessie skip/ barret skip / bar skip / MK 7777s etc.
