Time was stopped a little late so I corrected it to 27 flat.

I understand, it's dumb, which is why I didn't spend much time on low%. Here's a copy-paste of the category rules:

"Can't pick up orbs or weapons, hearts are ok. It's ok to use POW on final boss since you start with a full gauge, but can't pick up the orbs in the stage."

I never check this site, so sorry for not answering this sooner. Spinkick is back, forward, attack. Breadsticks is back, forward, back, attack. You actually have alot of leniency on the timing of the inputs, so you can start out slow and slowly build up speed as you get used to it. The problem I've found is that the d-pad on genesis controllers is usually garbage, which makes it harder to perform.

Good shit. I'm terrible at mashing, so could never do this consistently. I also had to swap to holding the controller in an odd position which didn't help matters. Consistency here would be a huge time save. The only video of me performing it was from 5 years ago when I was just seeing if it was possible on console:

I know this is old, so you may have figured this out already, but the Predator doesn't spawn in Big Mode until all bubbles are cleared from the screen. If you are unlucky enough to get a spawn of them just as the last platform is going off screen, you will lose a ton of time. I never fucked around with it to find out if you could time it so that you can reliably get a favorable spawn for the last set of bubbles, but ideally, you would shoot the last bubble just as the last platform goes off screen to cause the Predator to spawn instantly.
