Hey guys
I was asked to moderate this game better; so I decided to take a look at the issues it had. I decided the best thing to do would be to make a rule change (more of a clarification as it already said what versions of the game you had to play). I consulted with the other mod and we both agreed that this was the best action to take.
These rule changes invalidated all the runs that we currently had on the leader board and therefore I deleted/invalidated them.
Sorry for the inconvenience but this was the best way to make the game fair. I look forward to your new submissions.
You can do some cool clips in the new version, not sure if they can be useful or not :p
I think some people may have already realised or maybe none has ever bothered to change it but do not disable head bobing. It makes you run very slowly, I had been getting runs where I got good RNG and things went well and they were 2 mins behind my PB and it was baffling..turns out that's why, i lost 20 seconds in running time from the end of traps to the start of spaceman. So yeah, never do that xD
Hey, yesterday I did a 100% run of the original, and due to how the game saves progress it would be faster to run 100% on Redux as you could do the Unfinished Story alongside the other stories instead of having to backtrack at the end of the game. This would save a few mins on the original and would make it a better run. So could we have this as a category?
Hey I have done a run (going to sumbit a better one) and the rules say timing ends on the start of the credits. Wouldnt it make more sense to end timing when the cutscene from picking up the book starts? As after that is all cut-scenes that cannot be skipped and make no difference other than making my shitty internet suffer a longer upload xD
I know this game kinda dead but I think that since the PS4 release of the game there has been more console runners, and on console the game is slower cos of having to use a controller opposed to KB&M.

Some runs have been timed wrong by using SMPTE 30 FPS timecoding instead of seconds. An easy mistake to make, one that I did myself.
Hate to be that guy who asks for mod (e.g. Racingmonster) but I would like it if I could have mod to help out with the timing issues. I have re-submitted my 2nd place run with the correct time and I have talked to Mayu and his run has been re-timed to 47.517 (if you could change that plz mod)

I have been running glitchless and on Chapter 6 I have been getting to the upper door that goes to 6B, but it isnt there. I know that you can run through and get the checkpoint, then quit and re-load. However once I do I get 30fps from there to the swing inside or sometimes the factory. I know it is because of the sudden loading but I have the game on an SSD and I have a GTX 1080. Anyone else ever had this problem?
Last time I checked for this game it was not on the site so it must be recent, just wondering if someone is gonna make a route or not?
I was on a run where the pace was dead and did this, I dunno if anyone else has done this or even if it is any faster as I have struggled to replicate this again. I dont know if this was just random or what but hey worth mentioning imo.

Hey guys, im trying to get into speedrunning this game (despite being kinda bad lol) and despite having the load removals thing in Livepsplit and having the splits set to this I cannot seem to get the game to work with game time, only real time (so it wont remove load times and wont make game time splits).
