We can all agree that both these run categories will be and are very long. I am personally routing 880 right now, and 100% is being worked on, so I decided how much time you watch yourself collect moons. With 880 total moons, we have three types of moons: Regular moons- A quick cutscene that just pops you right back into the game. It takes about 3.5 seconds. Story Moons- Moons above metal switches that progress the story in a level. These have a longer cutscene with Cappy, as well as any cutscene that follows after. From the start of the moon collection to when you hit the switch is 10.5 seconds. Finally, we have Triple Moons. This gives a flashy cutscene with Cappy, and kicks you to the Odyssey. There also may be an additional cutscene or text box (like when you get the invisible hat, for example). From the collection of the triple moon to the start of any given cutscene is about 26 seconds.
Now for some math! There are 22 triple moons, worth 66 moons. 880-66 is 814 moons. 22 Triple moons x 26 seconds = 572 seconds. 814 moons x 3.5 seconds is 2849 seconds. (572+2849)/60 = 57 minutes. Giving the benefit of the doubt of the extra 7 seconds for the ~30ish moons, I'd say we are looking at about an hour of just watching you collect moons. A lot of them. Thanks! Bye.
So there's any percent/all dungeons, but there ¤could¤ be a few more: Speed Runs, this game is so expansive, runs will be dependant on time... All runs must beat Ganon!

- 2DB Run- First 2 DB's
- 1DB Run- First DB
- Instant Run- As soon as you are done with great plateau, go fight ganon...
