Yeah I would suggest getting a comfy chair since the run is quite long lol.

Definitely read the notes. The big things to remember in the run are: -ctrl+S if running on PC, don't hold down just ctrl -You need the coins for the Final Dead Room in ch4 - you will definitely get these automatically from the trials beforehand, but don't forget to actually use the coins to skip this room lol -Using the map warp at certain points to go faster, instead of always fast-walking through the overworld.

I know my PC run and guide definitely could use some more optimization...the biggest one being knowing which direction is faster for trial selections and overworld selections (for example, knowing to traverse left or right to select Teruteru, or to go left instead of right to get to Island 4, stuff like that). I think speedwerd's guide covers most of this info well if you need it

If you're running on pc, having the notes on a second monitor or other machine helps - there's plenty of downtime with text scrolling to make sure you're at the right section of the notes.

Also if you're running on pc w/ a controller, don't be like me and use a controller that randomly disconnects and wastes time while you scramble to use KB+M

+1 to Smileyz's suggestion of ending time at the epilogue's ending, sounds good to me

I think ultimately it's okay either way.

It does nag at me that time is called before the game is technically over, but I get what you were going for. For DR:AE that makes total sense.

I was more worried about if someone new tried to pick this up and for some reason didn't know about that rule (but I imagine if they would go that far, they would probably look at past runs).

Hey guys,

Was reminded of this in the new pc run that was verified today.

For New Game, is there a particular reason why we end the timer on the shutdown sequence button press?

It seemed kind of strange to me, considering it's not really the last input of the game, or even the end of the chapter (ch6 has a bit more text after that point).

Personally it would make more sense to me to have the timer stop when the Chapter 6 Game Over/END screen is reached. Or even when the credits start playing.

Just wanted to see what other people thought.

The only other thing I could think of (if someone is masochistic enough to do it) would be 100%, which would seem to me like maxed report card/hope fragments, all hidden monokumas, and present collection fully filled out.

Would obviously have to loop through the game but yeah
